This past weekend, we had the opportunity to attend the Chefs Care BBQ in Southampton as proud sponsors of the event. While we actively support several organizations, we can definitely say that Pop.Earth hosted the charity-fundraiser spectacular of the summer.

Pop.Earth is an event focused on holistic wellness for children with autism and other special needs. The event helped raise over $100,000 toward their new wellness center—a 2,000 square foot facility that will benefit those in need of specified education. It’s a major project in the field of autism research, so that’s reason to celebrate enough.

But Chef Franklin Becker, Chair of the Board, didn’t stop there. He and his team brought together twenty of the most celebrated chefs in America to plate up some of our favorite summertime fare: delicious barbecued ribs, served in Front of the House Servewise and Tablecraft Bamboo disposable boats.

All participating chefs—including Chef Jaime Young of Sunday in Brooklyn, Floyd Cardoz of Paowalla, and Shane McBride of Pig Beach (who won the rib contest that evening)—were sporting their AOS by Sosa aprons in hues of blue denim.  Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto rocked the light pink apron, inspiring the chefs around him to embrace this blush shade in the kitchen.

Of course, equally as pink was the flowing rosé, served in Drinique WhiteOut stemless wine glass all night long. These bright white 12 oz. vessels played so beautifully in the outdoor event space, capturing the essence of the beachy, dune-side freedom that is The Hamptons. Act now for a special promotion on the WhiteOut collection, stocked in our New Jersey warehouse for immediate delivery.
