We know we talk about our NYC and PA customers a lot, but let’s face it: this year’s James Beard Awards highlighted just how important these markets are to the culinary world.

We are truly honored to play a part as the largest food service supplier in these areas, supporting some of the most influential chefs and restaurateurs in the world.

While Michael Solomonov brought the Outstanding Chef Award back to Philadelphia, the team behind Le Coucou brought the title for Best New Restaurant home to New York City. Le Coucou, opened in 2016, is New York/Philadelphia-based restaurateur Stephen Starr’s upscale undertaking in SoHo. Paying homage to classic French cuisine, Le Coucou satiates a different kind of New York hunger. We are very lucky that Chef Daniel Rose, an American who lived in France for the greater part of his adult life, decided to bring his talents back home. Our very own Morgan Tucker had the pleasure of attending the festivities this year, and when congratulating our long-time customer, he put it simply and humbly: “Thank you. I’ve waited a long time.”

At the axis of classic and modern, our Gold Miner collection [link here] twinkles playfully with placement at Le Coucou’s bar. The collection carries Starr’s decadent and thoughtful beverage program in strong glassware, from the Rona and Stellar collections by Steelite.
